Zur Umsetzung der Neuregelung sind bei den Krankenkassen noch technische und organisatorische Anpassungen nötig. Daran wird aktuell mit Hochdruck gearbeitet. Aus diesem Grund hat der Gesetzgeber den gesetzlichen Krankenkassen eine Umsetzungsfrist bis zum 30.06.2025 eingeräumt.
Sobald die technischen Voraussetzungen geschaffen sind, erfolgt automatisch und ohne einen Antrag eine Beitragsrückrechnung und Beitragserstattung. Sie erhalten dann auch einen korrigierten Beitragsbescheid.
